11 Alabama road projects to share $3.6 million grant: Where the money is going

The Alabama Department of Transportation has awarded $3.6 million for 11 city and county road projects, Gov. Kay Ivey announced Thursday.

The money is from an annual grant program set up under the Rebuild Alabama Act, the fuel tax increase to fund road projects that Ivey spearheaded and the Legislature passed in 2019.
