61-year-old man shot by north Alabama police found dead in pond

A man shot by an Owens Cross Roads police officer on Friday was found dead in a car submerged in a pond, according to officials.

Coroner Dr. Tyler Berryhill identified the victim as 61-year-old Rodney Wied.
