A Jefferson County judge is fighting to keep her seat — here's what happens next

Suspended Jefferson County Probate Judge Yashiba Blanchard was in a courtroom Thursday but this time on the other side of the bench as a defendant in a case that will determine her professional fate.

Blanchard made her first appearance in Montgomery at the Court of the Judiciary Thursday morning.
