Alabama apartment complex avoids water cutoff, but residents question management

A Birmingham area apartment complex paid its overdue water bill this week, avoiding a threatened service disconnection that had alarmed residents.

Central Alabama Water spokesperson John Matson said the Brook Highland complex paid its bill on Thursday and the water will not be shut off.
