The mother of a Belgreen High School football player injured in a Wednesday evening car crash provided updates on her son’s critical condition at Huntsville Hospital.
Carter Raney sustained a diffuse axonal injury from the accident, a type of traumatic brain injury caused by significant movement of the brain inside the skull, according to his mother Ashleigh Raney’s Facebook post Saturday.
