Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall’s lawsuit against TikTok and its parent company ByteDance Inc. is scheduled to begin trial Monday in Montgomery state court.
It marks the first case of its kind against the social media platform to reach trial despite similar lawsuits filed by more than 25 other states, according to Reuters.
