Alabama Power’s parent company reports $2 billion earnings in single quarter

Alabama Power reported net income in the third quarter of $661 million, an increase of 12.4%, according to public reports by its parent company Southern Company.

At the same time, Southern Company, which oversees Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi Power, reported third quarter earnings of $2 billion.
