There was a dramatic decrease in traffic fatalities investigated by Alabama State Troopers over the Fourth of July weekend.
Four people died between Friday, July 3, through July, 5, down from 12 during the same time period in 2025. That is a 66 percent drop, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reported.
