The Alabama Supreme Court has ruled that a dispute between suspended Jefferson County Probate Judge Yashiba Blanchard and the lawyers she removed from cases in her court can continue making its way through the legal system.
Blanchard is the subject of a lawsuit brought by two lawyers from the Hand Arendall firm alleging that she exceeded her authority when she ordered detailed financial audits on about 146 accounts that they previously managed.
