Alex Mortensen’s time as a Samford quarterback lasted less than 12 months. It also helped bring him to UAB.
On Saturday, he’ll try to beat his old program when the Blazers (2-2, 1-0 American) host the Bulldogs (1-3, 1-1 SoCon) at Protective Stadium. The game kicks off at 2:30 p.m. Central and will stream live via ESPN+.
