America’s biggest landlords are suddenly selling thousands of rental homes at a discount

Large-scale real estate investors are listing rental homes for sale at more than double the rate they were just five months ago as new legislation rewrites how many homes they can own. CNBC reports institutional investors have roughly 9,447 homes listed, up from the 4,166 that were available on Feb. 1.
