Apartment construction down 22% in August as developers face cost, financing pressures

As Americans continue to look for affordable and quality housing across the country, federal data shows the number of multifamily housing projects declined significantly in August. That’s according to data released by the Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Census bureau.
