Architects present timeline for $100 million Madison County courthouse rebuild by 2030

Madison County leaders have released the estimated timeline of the new $100 million courthouse. However, there are a lot more details to iron out along the way.

Commissioners have been researching the process to update the courthouse since 2024. The 60-year-old building has been plagued with issues for a long time. For example, the building has outdated elevators, a lack of hot water and no secure entrances for judges.
