Arrested for murder at 17, Alabama man acquitted after 5 years, 2 jail escapes

A 22-year-old man has been acquitted in the 2021 shooting death of another man in Perry County.

Aldonte Jaquan Banks was 17 when he was charged with murder in the June 2, 2021 killing of 25-year-old Jimmie Rembert Jr.
