Birmingham-based energy company announces $1.8 billion acquisition, largest in its history

Birmingham-based Diversified Energy Co. has announced plans to acquire Birch Permian Holdings for $1.8 billion, the largest acquisition in the company’s history.

Birch Permian is an independent oil and gas producer with operations in the Permian Basin.
