Crews work to contain a fuel leak that seeped into Birmingham storm drain system causing a multi-block, two-day, evacuations. Crews focused mitigation efforts at the Shell gas station on University Boulevard.

The evacuation order following a fuel leak in Birmingham’s Southside has been lifted.
