Two of Alabama’s elite programs will meet for the first time ever when Central-Phenix City (8-1) travels to face Clay-Chalkville (7-1) on Friday night at Cougar Stadium in Pinson. The nonregion clash features a Red Devils squad allowing just 10 points per game against a Cougars team that has turned its home field into a fortress, winning 23 consecutive games at Cougar Stadium since a first-round playoff loss to Parker in 2022.
