The suit against a Chick-fil-A operator claimed violations of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, alleging an employee was unlawfully denied “reasonable accommodation of her religion and termination from her employment because of her religion.”

The operator of a Texas Chick-fil-A is being sued by the federal government after an employee alleged they were fired for refusing to work on a Saturday due to her religious beliefs.
