DA rules deadly shooting by Birmingham police justifiable as Black Lives Matter plans protests

A Birmingham police officer was justified in fatally shooting in a 50-year-old man who was brandishing a gun and had fired shots in an Ensley neighborhood, the Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office has ruled.
