Afrobeats star Davido released the official music video for “Already Falling,” a standout track from his latest album, ORIADÉ. Since its release on July 31 via RCA Records/Sony Music UK, “Already Falling” has inspired more than 72K TikTok creations and generated 88M views across the platform. Filmed at Château de Chanteloup, Martell’s historic estate in Cognac, France, the video features a rare appearance from Davido’s wife, Chioma, offering a romantic tribute to their relationship.

On “Already Falling,” Davido reimagines Elvis Presley’s timeless hit “Can’t Help Falling in Love” through an Afrobeats lens. He has described the track as a follow-up to his 2018 single “Assurance,” another love song inspired by Chioma, who appeared in the music video as his then-girlfriend. Nearly eight years later, the new video brings their relationship full circle, reflecting on their journey from a young couple to now husband and wife. Set against the Château de Chanteloup’s grand interiors and grounds, the video follows Davido as he professes his love. One scene features a royal portrait of the couple, while another brings Chioma into the frame as Davido serenades her.
The video also features the Martell Afrobeats VS and XO Limited Editions, launching today in collaboration with Davido and Ghanaian visual artist Prince Gyasi. The Limited Edition launch builds on Martell’s five-year relationship with Davido and brings together music, art, and design in celebration of Afrobeats and its global influence.
The “Already Falling” music video adds a new visual chapter to ORIADÉ, expanding the world of Davido’s sixth studio album beyond the music. It arrives as the pioneering Afrobeats singer-songwriter celebrates 15 years in music through the end of the year. In December, Davido will headline a three-night residency at The National Theatre in Lagos, Nigeria from December 17–19, marking the first time he brings ORIADÉ to the stage in Lagos, while closing out the anniversary year in the city most central to his musical journey.
