Dense fog advisory in place for Alabama Sunday morning – quarter mile visibility

A dense fog advisory was released by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 8:35 a.m. in effect until 10 a.m. for Marion, Lamar, Fayette, Winston, Walker, Blount, Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Pickens, Tuscaloosa, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Clay, Randolph, Sumter, Greene, Hale, Perry, Bibb, Chilton, Coosa, Tallapoosa, Chambers, Marengo, Dallas, Autauga, Lowndes, Elmore, Montgomery, Macon, Bullock, Lee, Russell, Pike and Barbour counties.

The weather service informs, "Visibility one quarter mile or less in dense fog."
