DAMASCUS, Syria — At least nine people were killed and about 20 others were wounded Thursday after an explosive device detonated inside a café near the main courthouse complex in central Damascus, marking one of the deadliest attacks to hit the Syrian capital in recent months. Security forces quickly sealed off the area while emergency crews treated the wounded and transported victims to nearby hospitals. No group immediately claimed responsibility for the blast.:
