Fast-growing Huntsville reaches new national milestone

Huge population growth in Huntsville — the largest city in Alabama — is nothing new. The Rocket City has been booming for decades.

But population estimates released last week by the U.S. Census Bureau show Huntsville reached a new milestone. It climbed into the top 100 cities in the United States by population.
