Former Montgomery City Councilmember Marche Johnson has filed a lawsuit against the city and her fellow council members, alleging she was unlawfully removed from office without a hearing after questions arose about her residency.
The complaint, filed June 29 in Montgomery County Circuit Court, challenges the council’s June 23 unanimous vote to declare Johnson’s District 3 seat vacant.
