Former Auburn kicker Daniel Carlson picked up by the New Orleans Saints

One of the league’s most consistent kickers appears to have a new home. Daniel Carlson, a former Auburn star has signed with the New Orleans Saints.

According to NFL Media, the Saints have had two kickers on their roster and appear to not be sold on either Tanner Brown or Charlie Smyth. The signing of the former All-Pro kicker who has spent eight seasons with the Minnesota Vikings and Oakland/Las Vegas Raiders means one or both of them may be out of a job.
