Frozen berries sold in Alabama, 15 other states may have possible E.coli contamination

Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. expanded a July recall to include Great Value frozen Organic Triple Berry Blend sold at Walmart stores across 16 states due to potential E. coli contamination.

The Chile-based company announced Sept. 2 that one lot of the 10-ounce frozen berry product may be contaminated with Escherichia coli O145:H28, a Shiga toxin-producing bacteria, according to a news release.
