Gas prices for 10/20/26: Diesel prices up despite President Trump’s executive order

While gasoline prices in the U.S. are down again Tuesday, diesel users continue to see prices well above the $6 mark. The national average for a gallon of diesel as of Oct. 20 is $6.31 per gallon, which is the same as it was Monday and four cents more than it was a week ago, according to AAA.
