Matthew Sean Massey, 38, was killed by a Birmingham police officer on Aug. 13 when police say he grabbed an officer’s Taser while the officer was trying to subdue him in the parking deck of UAB St. Vincent's.

A Jefferson County grand jury has cleared a Birmingham police officer of any wrongdoing in the shooting death of a 38-year-old man in the deck of UAB St. Vincent’s hospital.
