Group of college students, graduates getting $2,000 payments from new settlement

The payments stem from a 2022 lawsuit filed by students who alleged the schools participated in a “price-fixing cartel,” that was designed to benefit wealthy students while reducing financial aid packages for others.

Students who attended a handful of elite private schools are in line for payments as the result of a $284 million settlement.
