Homewood grants $25,000 for displaced Park at Buckingham apartment residents

The city of Homewood and the Hispanic and Immigrant Center of Alabama (¡HICA!) will provide emergency financial assistance to residents living in unsafe conditions at the Park at Buckingham apartments.

In late July, many Park at Buckingham residents woke up to notices on their door telling them to vacate due to unlivable conditions. The city will grant $25,000 to families in need. ¡HICA! will be accepting donations and helping families through the moving process.
