Homewood mayor proposes adding 3 police officers to 2027 staffing budget, sparking debate

During the most recent budget hearing, Homewood Mayor Jennifer Andress proposed adding three patrol officers to the police personnel budget following debates on the funding.

The proposal would bring the staffing budget up from 84 officers to 87 if approved.
