Homewood moves forward with $579,000 parking lot project

The city of Homewood is currently working to build a new, 64-spot municipal parking lot at 185 Oxmoor Road.

The city awarded a $579,378 construction contract to Southeastern Sealcoating, Inc. for the project, Wyatt Pugh, director of Homewood Community Development, told AL.com in an email Friday.
