Since 2023, Huntsville City Schools has seen a steady decline in the amount of money it expects from city sales tax revenue.
This year the district expects to collect approximately $1.75 million less in sales tax revenue than in 2025, according to a recent presentation to the Huntsville City Schools Board of Education.
