Huntsville is gearing up to host an international sporting event and organizers need volunteers’ help to make it happen.
The city has the honor of hosting the 2026 Union Cycliste Internationale Para-cycling Road World Championships. The high-ranking event will bring around 600 of the world’s top athletes to the Rocket City over Labor Day weekend. The competitors are hoping to land a spot in the 2028 Los Angeles Paralympic Games. City leaders are eager to see the competitors, especially athletes with Team USA.
