Indictment filed against Prichard officer; city’s mayor seeks police consultant

The criminal complaint against a Prichard police officer arrested last week has resulted in an indictment formally laying out the federal charges against him. Meanwhile, Prichard’s mayor says she envisions hiring a consultant “to assist with evaluating, restructuring, and rebuilding” the Prichard Police Department.
