Jacksonville State’s softball season ended with an 11-0 loss to host Florida State on Saturday in the NCAA Tallahassee Regional.
The Gamecocks (45-16) managed just four hits against Seminoles pitchers Jazzy Franik and Makenna Reid. No. 3 national seed Florida State (50-9) pounded out 14 hits, including home runs by Kennedy Harp, Hayley Griggs and Jaysoni Beacham to win by mercy rule in five innings.
