Jefferson County Jail inmate dies at Birmingham hospital

A Jefferson County Jail inmate died Wednesday shortly after being transferred to UAB Hospital.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified the man as Jonathan Tremaine Maul. He was 39 and lived in Birmingham.
