Jury awards $5M against UAB Hospital employer after woman suffers rare form of paralysis

A Jefferson County jury awarded $5 million to a Talladega County woman on Thursday in a verdict against the University of Alabama Health Services Foundation, the private corporation that employs UAB Hospital providers.
