A North Carolina man charged in an alleged DUI crash that killed two Tennessee collegiate cyclists and injured multiple other students was arrested for failing a drug screen one week after the deadly wreck.
John Benfield, 69, of Newland, North Carolina, is charged with two counts of vehicular homicide by recklessness and five counts of reckless aggravated assault by vehicle.
