Man charged in crash that killed mother, 3 children ‘was not impaired,’ attorney says

Ashley Hagood, Bryleigh Pledger and Bryant Ballew died in an April 11 wreck at the intersection of Highways 157 and 24 in Moulton in Lawrence County. Brynleigh Pledger was taken to UAB Hospital, where she passed away April 15. Hagood’s son Bentley Pledger (Back, Center) is recovering at UAB after being seriously injured in the crash.

The attorney for a man charged in a horrific crash that killed an Alabama mother and three of her children said there is zero evidence that his client was impaired when the wreck happened.
