Michigan governor made offer to German official over Alabama Mercedes plant’s union election

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Michigan’s governor lobbied a German official on behalf of union activity at Mercedes-Benz’s Tuscaloosa auto plant in the wake of a 2024 election that went against the United Auto Workers union.
