Mobile coal ash lawsuit against Alabama Power can move forward, appeals court rules

The Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals ruled Monday that Mobile Baykeeper, an environmental advocacy group, has standing to sue Alabama Power over the energy company’s 21-million-ton coal ash pond on the banks of the Mobile River.
