Huntsville police say two brutal murders, unsolved since 2010, were committed by a 23-year-old who allegedly fatally shot a Mississippi homicide detective questioning him in a deadly 2013 stabbing.
Jeremy Powell, authorities said, took his own life at the Jackson Police Department on April 4, 2013, reportedly shooting himself multiple times moments after allegedly killing the detective.
