North Alabama hospital receives $490K to strengthen rural health care

U.S. Rep. Robert Aderholt, R-Haleyville, and Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) Administrator Thomas J. Engels toured Lakeland Community Hospital with Lakeland, community and Huntsville Hospital Health System (HH Health) leaders as part a Rural Healthcare Champions Recognition Event, which highlighted initiatives supporting rural hospitals and the people they serve.

A Northwest Alabama hospital is receiving help in its efforts to strengthen rural health care in its community.
