North Alabama police officer gets another try at having murder charge thrown out

An Alabama police officer charged in an on-duty shooting is getting another try at having his murder case thrown out.

The Alabama Supreme Court on Friday ordered Morgan County Judge Charles Elliott to reevaluate whether former Decatur police officer Mac Marquette is immune from prosecution.
