The Rev. Camara Blue plans to ask for a recount after he lost by 593 votes to Jefferson County Commission President Jimmie Stephens in District 3 on Nov. 3, 2026.

The Rev. Camara Blue, who narrowly lost his upset election bid to incumbent Jefferson County Commissioner Jimmie Stephens by 593 votes on Tuesday, said today he plans to ask for a recount.
