Thousands of PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 titles go on sale for nearly four weeks — but some offers end early and the lineup refreshes mid-sale
PlayStation is starting Black Friday early this year. Sony has announced that the PlayStation Store’s Black Friday promotion opens Wednesday, Nov. 4, with discounts of up to 75% across thousands of PS5, PS4 and PS VR2 games, expansions and downloadable content.
The sale runs through Monday, Nov. 30 — but shoppers should not treat every deal as month-long. Sony says the promotion refreshes on Nov. 16, when some offers will be replaced by new ones, and certain discounts end earlier, on Nov. 20, a full 10 days before the sale closes. Prices and percentage discounts can also differ by region.
What Is in the Preview
Sony has shared only a preview of the lineup so far; individual prices will be revealed on the PlayStation Store when the sale goes live. Confirmed titles in the preview include:
- Marvel’s Wolverine Digital Deluxe Edition
- ASTRO BOT
- SILENT HILL: Townfall
- PRAGMATA
- God of War Ragnarök
- Stardew Valley
- Valheim
- Mafia: The Omertà Collection
The promotion is a digital storefront sale focused on games and add-on content; Sony’s announcement does not cover console or accessory hardware deals.
How to Shop It
The sale begins at 12:00 a.m. PST/GMT/JST on Nov. 4 in each regional store. Because offers rotate — some ending Nov. 20, others arriving with the Nov. 16 refresh — Sony advises checking each game’s product page for its exact discount and end date. If a wishlist title appears in the first wave, its price may not survive to Black Friday itself.
