Remains in North Carolina identified as 15-year-old girl missing since 1977 in cold case

A Maryland teenager who vanished in 1977 has finally been identified, nearly 50 years after her remains were found in a wooded area of North Carolina, thanks to advanced DNA genealogy testing.
