Republicans Matt Gentry and Jim Zeigler won their races for Places 1 and 2 on the Alabama Public Service Commission on Tuesday, keeping the currently three-member commission completely Republican.
In his Place 1 victory, Gentry had 55.1 percent of the vote to Gordon’s 44.9 percent with 95 percent of votes counted early Wednesday morning, according to numbers from the Associated Press.
