Scary Mommy founder dead at 48: ‘Spent her life telling the truth about motherhood’

Jill Smokler, the founder of the Scary Mommy blog, died Monday at the age of 48.

Smokler, a mother of three, died after more a two-year battle with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer.
